Leicester City trialist Kartell Dawkins signed an 18-month contract with the club earlier today.
The teenager, who has spent two trial periods with the Foxes’ Under-18 squad, put pen to paper after impressing coaches with his performances at Belvoir Drive.
Dawkins is a defensive central midfielder and joins the club from the Halesowen College Football Academy. He has also featured for non-league sides Worcester City Reserves and Solihull United.
He was one of five trialists fielded by the club as the Under-18s lost 3-1 to West Bromwich Albion Under-18s in league action on November 21.
