Former Birmingham City scout Thomas Thacker has joined Leicester City as Head of 17-23 Recruitment.
He replaces David Johnson, who left the club in November to become a consultant for an international agency.
Thacker leaves his full-time job as a Police Officer and will work closely with the club’s senior scouts and Under-23 coaching staff to identify potential new signings aged 17 to 23. He will also oversee the club’s non-league scouting network.
Having held various scouting roles for Birmingham City, Thacker most recently oversaw the recruitment of players aged 16 to 23 across the Midlands for the Blues.
